Welcome to Iraq Stamps

2nd Baghdad Arab Fair- 30 fils

This stamp commemorates the Second Baghdad Arab Fair, held in 1965 as a major regional event dedicated to trade, industry, agriculture, and economic cooperation among Arab countries. Trade fairs of this kind provided a platform for participating nations to showcase their industrial products, agricultural achievements, technological innovations, and commercial opportunities. The symbols of industry and agriculture featured on the stamp reflect the fair's focus on economic development and regional exchange. By issuing this stamp, Iraq highlighted the importance of strengthening economic ties within the Arab world and encouraging commercial cooperation among neighboring countries. The issue celebrates the role of international exhibitions in promoting trade, investment, and development, while emphasizing Iraq's position as a center for regional economic and cultural interaction.
