Day of the Tree - 10 fils

Afforestation Day promoted the planting and protection of trees as part of Iraq’s environmental and agricultural development. The observance encouraged citizens and public institutions to recognise the importance of vegetation for productive land, healthier settlements and the conservation of natural resources.
Tree-planting campaigns also carried a long-term message of national improvement. By expanding green areas and caring for orchards and forests, communities could help limit land degradation, support agriculture and create a more sustainable environment for future generations.
